Featured at the Rolex Monterey Motor Sports History display “Moments in Time” was Ralph Lauren's 1938 Alfa Romeo 8C-2900B Mille Miglia Spyder, in which Phil Hill won the 1951 Del Monte Trophy Race, as part of the 35th anniversary of the Monterey Historic Automobile Races.
At the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2008, Ralph Lauren's fabulous 1930 Mercedes-Benz Trossi SSK won Best of Show in the Cartier Style et Luxe Concours d'Elegance.
